Basel Half Marathon

A huge congrats to "Team USA" for their impressive showing at the Manor Run to the Beat Half Marathon in Basel, Switzerland.  Jess and Karen traveled overseas to meet up with Anne for this challenging event, defined by a hilly cobblestone course complete with three crossing of the Rhine river.  Anne had a great race, pushing the pace as a speed workout in her marathon prep and finished with a half marathon PR.  Jess followed the Henrichs Half Marathon "Training" Program, running a blazing time with absolutely no preparation.  And Karen had a "culinary tour of Basel", stopping at the majority of the aid stations and trying the various fruity drinks and candies!  Impressive times, beautiful weather and a gorgeous city made this a great day for all!
