Webster Turkey Trot 5M: Webster, NY

Congrats to Jaime for her strong showing at the Webster Turkey Trot on a COLD Thanksgiving morning in Upstate NY. Jaime proudly wore her NACHO singlet for the first time over the moderately hilly course, finishing 14th in her age group in a competitive 33:59. Congrats to her and her Dad, Mike, for their great races! Check out the photos!

Newport Fed Pie Run 5M: Middletown, RI

Brian and Anne justified eating their weight in turkey on Thanksgiving by racing a tough 5M early in the morning. Brian tackled the course for the first time ever, finishing in a strong 36:16, and Anne ran a course PR finishing in 37:59 (watch time - official results not found due to chip error!). Great job guys!

Lil' Rhody Runaround 8M: Charlestown, RI

The Boston/Cambridge NACHOs and the Mid Atlantic NACHOs met in the middle (kinda) in Rhode Island for the 19th running of the Lil’ Rhody Runaround in Burlingame State Park. This CHALLENGING 8M trail run boasts a course which requires runners to cross streams, avoid roots and scale a rock face as they circumnavigate Watchaug pond. It was tough to pick out the NACHOs from the 298 runners as orange attire was required due to hunting season being in full effect. No one was shot, or broke and ankle or blew out a knee...so we call it a successful event! Highlights include Brent having a great race shaving 7 minutes off of his time from last year, Mary completing her longest race ever, and Amelia having a blast playing in the leaves! After the run all NACHOs returned to Dave & Cathy’s house for some post-race beef stew! Great day all around! Check out the photos!

Hot Chocolate 5K/15K :Chicago, IL

NACHO Chicago burst onto the Chicago area running scene at the Hot Chocolate 5k/15k race on November 6, 2010. The team made a strong showing overall, including a 2nd place finish overall! It was a clear, beautiful fall running day and the NACHOs indulged in post-race chocolate goodies, then brunch including chili cheese fries (unfortunately the restaurant didn't have nachos on their menu...) The race was a great start for CHI NACHOs, and we new NACHOs were thrilled to hear "GO NACHO" from the crowd! Check out the photos!
